Of interest to alPHa members who deal with the public is that the Ontario Superior Court (OSC) has recently recognized a new tort of ‘harassment in internet communications’ meaning that employers and individuals now have a legal remedy and can sue for damages resulting from suffering or harm caused by harassment on social media and other internet platforms.

This report produced by a collaborative of Ontario's 7 Northern public health units provides health professionals working in northern Ontario with a background on the health impacts of climate change relevant to the region.
