Registration (alPHa Members - $399; COMOH Section Emeritus and PHPMRs - $199.50) includes Symposium and Section Meetings. Workshops are optional and are available only for registered members and are included in the ticket price. Badge sharing is not permitted - one registration equals one member. This is a vital way to ensure all attendees have paid and are supporting alPHa in doing so.

Leading Change - The 5 Tensions to Manage Successful Transformation

The workshop will allow you: to embrace innovation and consistency; validate facts and feelings; focus on the short term and the long term; promote planning and action, and value complexity and simplicity. It will also be highly interactive and experiential, leveraging chat, polling, facilitated Q&A, and small group breakouts to ensure maximum engagement for all participants. During this time of change for public health, these leadership skills will help to manage current and future challenges. 

This workshop is included for and exclusive to all registrants for the Winter Symposium.

Harnessing the Power of ‘Where’ for Public Health Discussions 
(Updated January 23)

This afternoon workshop is designed to assist alPHa members to understand and recognize the growing value of maps and geographic technology to help solve some of Canada’s most pressing public health challenges. Through a series of presentations of real-world case studies and dynamic discussions, attendees will learn how geographic data, real-time maps, and new innovations in geographic technology are connecting Canadian public health teams to uncover local drivers of health inequity, strengthen health emergency preparedness, and improve collaborative decision-making.

This workshop is included for and exclusive to all registrants for the Winter Symposium.

 Please note, the best way to pay for your registration for the 2025 alPHa Winter Symposium, Workshops, and Section Meetings is by credit card or Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT). The deadline to register is Friday, February 7, 2025. Cancellations up until February 7 are refundable via electronic fund transfer, less a $50 processing fee. No cancellations will be processed following the deadline. If it is not possible to pay by credit card or EFT, cheques may be sent to our mailing address. (If you have not already done so, this is also a good opportunity to update your mailing list):
