Patricia Hewitt

Patricia Hewitt is the Manager of Public Health Administration at the Halton Region Health Department. She has worked in Halton for over 26 years primarily in the Health Department and for six years, also in the Social Services Department. Various positions were held in the areas of finance and administration including Manager, Financial Services and Manager, Public Health Administration.   

Patricia has served on the Association of Ontario Public Health Business Administrators (AOPHBA) Executive Committee for eleven years and is currently serving a two-year term, 2011 – 2013, as President. She has been an AOPHBA representative member on various Ministry and alPHa led Committees and Working Groups. She is currently the representative on the alPHa Board of Directors and a member of the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care (MOHLTC) Funding Review Working Group (FRWG). Membership on previous Committees included the Performance Management Working Group (PMWG), Joint Ministries Boards of Health Accountability Agreements Committee (JMB) and Information Privacy Working Group (IPWG).
