
Larry Stinson is the Director of Public Health Programs for the Peterborough County-City Health Unit. He started his public health career as a Health Promoter in Peterborough in 1991 in tobacco and expanded his experience to include physical activity, workplace health and heart health before moving into management roles in family health and chronic disease and injury prevention. He is the current President for the Ontario Public Health Association and is a Past-President for Health Promotion Ontario. Larry’s formal education includes a B.Sc. in Physical and Health Education from York University and a Masters in Public Administration from Dalhousie University.
