alPHa Vice President - Carmen McGregor.  Carmen is a newly elected Municipal Councillor at Chatham-Kent. Her responsibilities include:

         Closed Session Chair

        Director to Chatham-Kent Board of Health

        Fire Advisory Committee

        Property Standards Committee

        Strategic Priority Advisory Committee

        Community Mobilization committee of the Chatham-Kent Police Force

        CK Food Policy Council

Prior to municipal council  Carmen was a publically elected School Board Trustee for the Lambton Kent District School Board for 11 years. She was the Chairperson for 3 years and Vice Chair for 2 years. Her responsibilities also included many different committees including representing her board provincially as the Director to the Ontario Public School Board Association (OPSBA) and Vice President of the Western Region group of Public School Boards. 

Along with her political career Carmen is the Office Manager of her husband’s Law Firm and has continued to be an active volunteer within her community. She is the Past President and a current Director of the Wallaceburg and District Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Chatham-Kent Not-for-Profit Network, a member of the Age Friendly Committee, a Toastmasters and has chaired the Wallaceburg, United Way of Chatham-Kent Campaigns, 1999, 2009 & 2013. 

She joined the alPHa Board in June 2015 as the South West region's board of health representative.
