This is a selection of recent local resolutions on current public health issues. They include recommendations made by boards of health, health and social services committees and medical officers of health to regional or city councils. Once adopted, many of these in turn form the basis of advocacy initiatives to senior levels of government. Please note that these do not necessarily reflect the Association of Local Public Health Agencies' position on the subject, but are posted in the spirit of enhancing understanding of local perspectives on public health matters.
